Last year the WMJobs marketing team focused efforts to really grow the digital footprint for the brand.
Did it work?
In terms of followers on our three main social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin – the answer is a resounding yes!
Let’s take a look at the progress made on all three:
Twitter has gone from strength to strength on @WeManageJobs increasing by over 2,000 in 2017. While it’s always nice to have followers we were keen to explore the value a twitter account actually brings in terms of the time and effort it takes to build a strong follower base.
Using google analytics the team were delighted to find that the WMJobs twitter account alone has generated over 7,500 new users to the WMJobs website. This number is set to grow next year with plans in place to hit the big 5k in followers!
In January 2017 we launched the WMJobs Facebook account – the aim was to extend our reach and connect with a wider audience. This has proved a successful platform with over 1,200 followers in just 12 months. More importantly Facebook now sits as the top 5 source of referrals to the WMJobs website.
Linkedin launched in the summer of 2016 to help us connect with professionals – this has had the slowest growth, but it has still been working it’s magic and Linkedin can be seen in the Top 50 for referrals to the WMJobs site. The team will continue to nurture and grow this account month on month.
