In order to continuously improve our offer to our members and share the success stories we achieve for our customers, we have recruited two new team members. Chantelle Wooldridge, Senior Resourcing and Business Partner and Yolanda Mapfurire, Marketing Adviser.
Chantelle Wooldridge joined the WME family in January as a Senior Resourcing Business Partner. In the first few months she’s already started networking amongst yourselves to gather further insight into how WME can add more value, particularly within your resourcing services. Having attended the recent HRD Business Summit to see what the industry sees as the future of resourcing, and through discussions with School HR Business partners, at the West Midlands Region School and Education meeting, she is already exploring how we can further support the resourcing and recruitment challenges faced by the region’s schools.
Commenting on her role Chantelle said: “I have worked in Resourcing within the Public Sector for the past 10 years and therefore have a good understanding of the needs and challenges the sector faces. Initially in my role I will be spending some time gaining a better understanding of the services we provide and to consider what more we can do to support our partners within the region regarding their resourcing requirements. I will also be focussing on understanding the needs and challenges facing the Education sector and will be looking to engage with colleagues at the LGA and DFE to gain a better insight and what we can do collectively to add more value to this sector going forward.
Yolanda joined WME’s marketing team in February. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Sahra Jones, Yolanda will focus on raising awareness and telling the story of all the fantastic services we provide for our members. As a journalism graduate, we thought we’d let her put her skills into practice, so she’s produced this newsletter.
Commenting on her role she said: “I am really excited to join WME. There are some great success stories for me to tell and case studies to develop. I plan on driving more optimised content such like advisory pieces that will serve candidates and recruiters. I will also be shining a spotlight on best practice within the region, through a series of case studies, that will hopefully provide some answers to the common challenges you face. Over the coming months I will look forward to sharing these with you, through our digital engagement programme. So, watch out for some more story telling in our newsletters, blogs and social channels.”
